| Work concept |
| Pin Coat is a very simple construction. It based on a foot which is made
of aluminum casting in sand-form. The ledges are made of ash-wood. They
have different lengths and you can stick them into the holes in the foot.
In this way the wardrobe changes its appearance while using it. You can
hang up many clothes in a very small area. |

It has a possibility to increase its variation with different size and number of wooden stick. The work is simple yet can change its appearance by arranging the rods. Moreover, the work was highly admired for various ingredients such as its combination of wood and cast metal, ease of transportation, etc. (Kita)
The idea of the work being able to change the inclination and position of the sticks without conjugating parts is wonderful. In other words, we can call the work non-structural. The lightweight rods are good in size, showing their sufficient function visually, and having flexible movement with the base part made of cast metal. Moreover, the work is functional, well organized, and can be used as some kind of game. This work shows us the fact that the lumber needs to live with other materials. (Wiherheimo) |
