Work concept
This BENCH can be placed singularly or placed as a formation of two or more benches creating, for instance, a semicircular shape (it takes six benches to a full circle.) I call it a bench for two and a half people since two people who don't know each other can sit on it and still feel comfortable.
The bending shape facilitates to conversation as the people face each other. The bench can also seat three people.
Comments
Regarding maintenance, the work needs modification such as enlarging the interstice between the back and the seat of the bench. However, it deserves the award in every way such as its proportion, comfortable seat, and productivity. The bench has a forceful presence, and the user can play in the space by way of the combination of benches. It would be easy to transport that work by taking it apart. (Kita)

The contrast between the inorganic back and seat made of thin plywood and the thick leg part with the warmth of wood is well balanced. (Shibuya)

I think the design of the work is suitable especially for the public use. It still needs some improvements on the connecting portion of the back and seat of the bench making noise while in use, and how to remove dust and rubbish creeping in the interstice between the back and the seat. (Jakobsen)
